Alexandra Kauka, a European artist, refined her technique at New York's Art Students League. She has a passion for gentle abstraction of mystical nature. Her Art shows Places that are sublime and meditative, imaginary worlds, but beyond abstraction, one feels and sees reality. As Alexandra says, “When I start a painting, it is based on an internal sound. This is the force that drives the illusion into 3D. “
All her life, she has painted, but until now, has never publicly shown her Art. She continues to evolve her paintings in all forms, because – as she believes, she has that dream of merging the literal and metaphorical. More recently, Alexandra has expanded into multimedia fluid techniques, alcohol ink art and epoxy resin as well. These methods are very scientific, resulting in masterfully executed layered effects, truly organic and random in nature.
Alexandra's artistic Hero of the past is the Austrian symbolist painter Gustav Klimt and at present, the painter Nancy Reyner in Santa Fe.
